Nutrition Counseling

Starting to work with a new medical practitioner can feel overwhelming. Scroll down or click on a menu link on the right to get all your questions about our Nutrition Counseling services answered.

What we do

Living with IBS, IBD, or an autoimmune condition can make nutrition feel overwhelming and confusing. Through personalized nutrition counseling, we will work together to develop a sustainable nutrition plan that supports your unique symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals. Rather than relying on vague, restrictive diets or one-size-fits-all recommendations, we focus on identifying the foods, habits, and strategies that help you feel your best while supporting digestive health, reducing inflammation, and improving overall well-being. Our goal is to empower you with practical, evidence-based guidance that not only helps you manage your condition but also optimizes nutrition for long-term health, vitality, and longevity, so you can thrive at every stage of life.

What to expect from working with a Dietitian

Working with a Registered Dietitian is a collaborative process that develops over time. Lasting health improvements rarely come from quick fixes or short-term diets. Instead, we work together to create realistic, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes that fit your unique needs, preferences, and health goals. Through ongoing support, education, and adjustments along the way, we build a foundation for long-term wellness that helps you feel confident in managing your health for years to come.

Insurance

Insurance coverage for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) varies by plan. Some insurance providers cover visits with a Registered Dietitian, while others may offer limited or no coverage. Benefits can range from a set number of visits per year to unlimited sessions, so it's important to contact your insurance provider beforehand to understand your coverage and any potential out-of-pocket costs. Together, we will create a nutrition counseling plan that aligns with your health goals, fits your timeline, and respects your budget, ensuring you receive the support you need in a way that works for you.

Occasionally, different representatives can quote different benefit coverage. It's important for you to understand your insurance benefits as they relate to MNT. To help with this process, we provide a short list of questions to ask when you call to verify benefits.

Our Pledge

We are a small, locally owned, woman-owned business that believes in genuine human connection. If you would like to conduct some or all of your visits in-person, we have an office in downtown Parker. For those wanting the flexibility of meeting virtually, we offer HIPAA-secured telehealth appointments.

If you have a question or need support, give us a call. You'll reach a member of our small team (either myself or my event coordinator), not an overseas call center, who can assist with your needs and is here to help. Just like it used to be. No AI chatbot responding to messages or emails or extensive automated attendant on the phone.

Just real people helping real people.

Nutrition underpins, and, therefore, can either support or limit, our mental, social, emotional, and physical health.
